| This bear got into our garage last nite, helped himself to frozen chicken and koolaid, then went over to our "stuffy" deer and beat the crap out of him!!!! Our cabin is on the Eau Claire Lakes...near one of the biggest established wolf packs ( Bruele) pack....we have wolves around us and the deer herds are suffering greatly...so are the ranchers...the bear hunters can still hunt with dogs here and loose a number of their price dogs to wolves every year...the packs go after the baying of the hounds....now another preditor is making a comeback...cougar!!!! |

Thought you would like this ........i am proud of the bear ..but i am really proud of my son...no tattoos......good job.......good wife...good grandson
and he is 31 years old and a conservative.........now my daughter that's a different story.............I shot the bear right at dusk.........a little high above the lungs ,,,,below the spine.(252 yards)........it ran into the brush........we went in with flashlights...

| We were bow hunting, I was in front and there were some Elk about 60 yards a way, my buddy made a call and I herd a bull long way off, so I thought they ran off so I waved my buddy in front of me and he stepped over a downed tree, he took one step and then pulled back and shot all in one move. He had to shoot under a tree branch and he hit the bull bull was 61yards away he hit the bull with a double lung aorta shot the bull took 5 steps and went down 500 yards from camp, the 4th step was over the bank so the bull fell down a 1 to 1 bank in a clump between two trees 30 yards down the bank. |

| Scott Nelson and his sons were fishing Saturday when this small Whitetail fawn approached them on the South Fork (Snake River). It must have spent the summer bumming from campers or maybe one the home owners in the lower canyon was feeding it so it lost its fear of humans. This is without question the Catch of the year. |
