| Scott Nelson and his sons were fishing Saturday when this small Whitetail fawn approached them on the South Fork (Snake River). It must have spent the summer bumming from campers or maybe one the home owners in the lower canyon was feeding it so it lost its fear of humans. This is without question the Catch of the year. |

| Attached is a photo of my grandson, who turned six last month. I purchased one of those AR-15 rifles that shoots 22 Long Rifle cartridges. This was his first try at it. Must say, grandpa is pretty proud. |

"This was a 2nd season rifle hunt in Oregon. (Undisclosed unit)
We did use horses and mules. We were packed in 16 miles to our base camp. Nothing for the record book. The two larger 6 points scored about 315 or so.
We have been hunting this area for years but it's getting harder to draw a tag. It's like going home when we do get to hunt there.

Lars,
Wanted to share a picture from my Kansas hunting trip last week. We inherited the hunting ground (160 acres) from our grandfather when he passed away 3 years ago. My brother and I have vowed for the Tradition to live on for our grandfather who was an avid hunter.
Filled my buck and doe tags in a day and a half. My bucks rack scored out at 165 and weighed about 325.
And yes, my brother and I were wearing those evil orange vests! (Kansas Law) |
